I am a Software Consultant, Developer, and Entrepreneur living and working in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. I’ve been working with the Department of Veterans Affairs as an Application Development Lead for the past six years, designing and developing enterprise repositories for storing the Veteran’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

The majority of my recent work experience has been building and managing development teams and managing and developing large Enterprise Java application projects. I’m a progressive thinker. I like trying new things and new technologies. I don’t mind working on the bleeding edge but tend to choose technologies that have been proven. I’m passionate about what I do and consider myself one of the blessed few that are excited about going to work each day.

My goals are fairly simple: spend time each week developing my skills, be an asset to those around me, be prepared when opportunities are presented, and of course, enjoy life.
